Take a couple of quiet moments to answer the following self-awareness questions and discover where you’re at in this current moment.

23 Self Awareness Questions to Ask Yourself Each Month

Find a quiet space in your home, grab your meditation cushion, notebook and pen, and take a few quiet moments to tap into your mind, body and spirit. Take as long as you need to answer the self-awareness questions, and even longer completing the activity that follows.

  1. What am I good at?
  2. What do I want to get better at?
  3. What is the most important thing to me right now in this moment?
  4. Why is this important to me?
  5. What was the best thing that happened last month?
  6. What am I most proud of about myself?
  7. What did I accomplish last month?
  8. What do I want to accomplish this month?
  9. What stresses me out?
  10. What relaxes me?
  11. How do I define success?
  12. Am I successful?
  13. Why or why not
  14. What makes me happy?
  15. What makes me angry?
  16. What makes me sad?
  17. What is my biggest ‘time-waster’?
  18. Who are the most important people in my life at this moment?
  19. How do I want other people to view me?
  20. What do I think about myself?
  21. What do I value in this moment?
  22. What do I value in my relationships?
  23. What do I value in myself?

Activity To Complete After The Self-Awareness Questions

Completing these self-awareness questions will help you narrow in on how you’re feeling in this exact moment. Perhaps you start to see a pattern of self-doubt or a lack of self-confidence, or maybe you discover that it’s time to treat yourself to more self-love.

Maybe you’ll see that you’ve accomplished a lot in the previous month or need to spend more time doing a specific activity that makes you happy, relaxed, excited, etc.

The next step is to acknowledge any patterns or deep-rooted feelings the self-awareness questions revealed, and to then take the proper steps to improve yourself this month.

For example, if you notice that you have been overly stressed but have also spent a significant amount of time watching television, perhaps you’ll want to decrease the Netflix binging this month and take the time to practice longer meditation sessions. Maybe you notice that you’re entirely content with your life – that’s wonderful! Now, think about why and how you can keep that same feeling flowing into this month.

This self-awareness quiz will help you see where you’re at in this moment while also helping you determine what needs to change or improve moving forward. Often times, our minds, bodies and spirits yearn for change, even if it’s the smallest of adjustments.

Without self-awareness, it can be difficult to determine what exactly that is or worse, we carry on through life as if we’re pre-programmed robots. Sometimes, we just need to check in and make sure that we aren’t just going through the motions of life but truly, fully living it.
